Tanya Faynberg, LMHC, M.S./CAGS is a seasoned mental
health professional specializing in the treatment of adults and
children with affective disorders (anxiety and depression) and
history of trauma.
Tanya is also a certified School Psychologist with over 20 years
of experience working with public and private schools helping
students with a variety of learning, emotional, and behavior
issues. After receiving her doctoral degree in clinical
psychology from the University of St. Petersburg (Russia) she
moved to the United States and continued her education at
Northeastern University in Boston. Tanya graduated with a
Master of Science in School Psychology. Simultaneously she
pursued her clinical degree and completed residency at the
mental health center in Brookline.
Tanya's excellent interpersonal skills and her knowledge of
Special Education Law allow her to act as a liaison between
schools, parents, and outside agencies.
